Operators in the Eagle Ford, Permian, Barnett, Haynesville, Fayetteville, Woodford, Mississippi Lime and other emerging shale plays in Southern US are continually striving to cut costs in water management whilst utilizing the latest technology to use, treat, re-use, handle, contain and dispose of water safely. With more options than ever before, operators are spending more time in choosing their investment in water technologies and facilities design to maintain environmentally acceptable operations and reduce overall water usage whilst remaining cost effective. Shale Gas Water Management: Cost Reduction Initiative 2012 is coming back to Dallas for the third year with a brand new and up-to-date agenda focused on unearthing strategies and technologies to improve the economics of water management in Southern States shale plays. Over two days, leading operators, regulatory bodies and water advisors as well as innovative technology providers will be building on the fundamentals of produced water management and examining how to reduce costs in water handling, treatment, recycling, re-use and disposal.
