Delivering The Latest Core Analysis Data & Production Results On The Hottest Emerging Shale Plays
Emerging Shale Plays USA 2014
May 28-29 | Houston | Texas
We are delighted to present the speaker faculty and brand new agenda for the Emerging Shale Plays USA 2014 Congress.
It is absolutely critical for E&P operators to identify exciting new prospects as early as possible in the development phase, to benefit from leasing the most producible portions of land at lower acreage costs. However, with limits to the amount of plays any one company can pilot, what is needed is a platform for producers to share the most up-to-date geological and initial production data, to enable a comprehensive evaluation of the realistic available prospects that can be capitalized on.
The selection of plays being addressed at this year's congress, have been chosen due to a combination of their exciting prospectivity and lack of in-depth exposure to date. The mission of this congress is to bring to light North America's most talked about but least publicized plays, and answer some of the biggest questions the industry has with regards to whether these plays are going to be commercially viable in the long run.
The Plays Will Be Split Into 3 Main Categories:
FIRST MOVER SHALE PLAYS
Hearing pilot well updates from first movers in some of North America's least publicized but potentially most prospective unconventional plays.
NEVADA: ELKO & PILOT SHALE
SOUTH TEXAS: OLMOS & BUDA SHALE
WYOMING: LEWIS SHALE PLAY
NEW MEXICO: GALLUP FORMATION
EARLY DEVELOPMENT PLAYS
Using latest reservoir and well data to quantify production potential and assess the economics of exploiting the hottest and most current emerging plays in the US.
COLORADO: GOTHIC SHALE
NEVADA: CHAINMAN SHALE
SOUTH TEXAS: EAGLEBINE
ILLINOIS: NEW ALBANY
MONTANA: HEATH FORMATION
PLAYS ON THE BRINK OF COMMERCIALITY
Analyzing production results to date to identify the key geological drivers for production, infer drilling and completions strategies and derive the long-term economic viability of plays that are on the brink of becoming commercial.
OKLAHOMA: WOODFORD SHALE
LOUISIANA: TUSCALOOSA MARINE SHALE
GULF COAST STATES: BROWN DENSE
