American Business Conferences produce high quality business-to-business conferences in a variety of global vertical markets including oil and gas, clean technology, consumer goods, water and boardroom level business strategy.

We are looking for 3 commercially aware, (genuinely) hungry for success graduates to train as Conference Producers / Commercial Analysts

The dynamic multi-faceted role of a conference producer involves:

  • Conducting in-depth research with senior decision-makers at multinational companies to determine the content for the conference agenda
  • Writing engaging conference agendas that deliver specific commercial benefits
  • Securing top-level speakers
  • Driving the sponsorship sales campaign, individually and through a dedicated sales team
  • Spearheading the running and management of the event on the day

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have at least one years experience working in a commercially-driven (ideally sales) environment and are looking to apply those skills to a more intellectually engaging and creative environment
  • Have a strong academic record and are able to translate academic intelligence into business-acumen and commercial success
  • Are extremely ambitious, driven and able to take an energetic and enthusiast approach to telephone-based research, programme writing and speaker acquisition
  • Are motivated by financial rewards and are willing to put in the hard work necessary to achieve them
  • Want to take advantage of an unrivaled training process to develop a transferable set of skills that can be applied to any business-focused career

It is important to understand that this is not a logistics or events management job, but a research, editorial and sales driven role.
